In 2013, I was given the opportunity to be filmed for the award winning and internationally aired art programme Colour In Your Life, hosted by Graeme Stevenson. The 30 minute episode gave me the platform to talk about my life and artwork. It focused on some of my drawing techniques, demonstrated during an improvised work that used mixed media. During the episode, I aimed to highlight the importance of treating observation and imagination as an equally important skill to that of physically drawing. Additionally, the episode was also about taking a leap of faith in the creative process and allowing mistakes to happen.
